Dr. Haydel teaches and coordinates the Professional Abilities Lab series in the PharmD curriculum. She also serves as a residency preceptor for the ΠΗΜ½ΒιΆΉ College of Pharmacy PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency Program and advisor for Pharmacy Student Association.
Dr. Haydel received a Pharm.D. from ΠΗΜ½ΒιΆΉ College of Pharmacy in 2008 with highest honors and then worked in numerous aspects of community pharmacy practice where she focused on expanding pharmacy-provided clinical services. In 2013, she completed a Master of Science in Medication Therapy Management from the University of Florida while serving as pharmacy manager for a clinic-based community pharmacy. In her position, Dr. Haydel also provided clinical pharmacy services for clinic patients, developed and implemented medication therapy management programs for pharmacy patients, served on the Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee and developed a training program for incoming pharmacists and technicians. In 2017, Dr. Haydel transitioned to academia when she joined ΠΗΜ½ΒιΆΉ College of Pharmacy as Professional Abilities Lab Coordinator. After teaching one year, Dr. Haydel accepted a faculty position as Clinical Assistant Professor. In this position, she currently continues to further examine the curriculum to develop innovative skill based lab activities for pharmacy students.
